Privacy Policy

the short version: we collect nothing. this privacy policy explains how the brat generator ("the site", "the tool") handles data — or rather, keeps none of it.

Information we don't collect

we do not collect, store, or process personal data. no accounts exist, none are needed. The text you type, the colors you pick, and the covers you export are rendered entirely in your browser using the HTML canvas API. nothing you type is sent to any server, so there is nothing to leak, sell, or subpoena.

Local storage

the only data kept on your device is one preference: your night/day theme choice, stored in your browser's localStorage. you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. we do not use cookies, session storage, or fingerprinting.

Fonts

the site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. like any content delivery network, Google may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) when serving the font files. the covers themselves use fonts already installed on your device.

Hosting

the site is served from a static CDN. standard server access logs may be retained by the hosting provider for security and abuse prevention, and they are accessible only to the host — not us, by policy.

Children

the brat generator is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it collects nothing at all.

Changes to this policy
